Enrollment Guidelines

CWMH(forklift) - The minimum a student can enroll is 17. Only the classroom portions is availale to 17 year olds. You cannot operate the PIT equipment until you are 18.

AASCT - The minimum a student can enroll is 17.

The minimum that WTI requires is a 9th Grade education.

You must be able to read and write English.

WTI programs are MO/KS Dept of Education approved

We are approved for WIOA and SkillUp in Missouri and Kansas. We also work with other non-profits with grants aimed to improve skills for adults.

Enrollment Process

The student needs to submit a Pre-Registration from from this web site.

Housing- WTI will pay for the 2/4 weeks the student is in the program.

Food- We give a stipend to cover the cost of meals.

Transportation- We cover cost of bus/Amtrak or reimburse for fule use of personal vehicle.

What is covered with Out-of_District

WTI will cover transportation from where they live to Kansas City and back home after class.

This is by Greyhound Bus, Amtrak or Personal Vehicle (we supply gas card).

They will stay in a Motel. This will be a shared (same gender) room if we have more than one student attending.

Probation/Parole Officer may require their client to stay in a transitional house, which he have a few we work with.

WTI provides lunch at the school.

Breakfast is provided by the motel and stipend is given for dinner and weekend meals.

We will assist with finding employers for the student to apply to.

We do not guarantee employment. It is the responsibility of the student to find employment.
